Where's the violin list?! Well it's pretty apparent that our violin list might be a couple of weeks yet; suffice it to say that we have a nice range of violins from under $500, to lovely examples up the price range. Our "busy" range tends to be the practical $1,500 to $5,000 spectrum; it's what we do best, and what we have the most of. Over time, we'll add to our violins in the $10,000 to $15,000 area, such as our Collin-Mezin from 1895 at $12,500. This summer we hope to see two new Cremonese violins that will complement that. The nicest violin we have available is a beautiful Vincenzo Cavani from 1942, that will be around $20,000. Meanwhile, here's the most violin that one can buy for under $3,000! It's the Snow "Simona." If it was $5,000, it would still be a contender in the range! I don't want to spoil it for dealers who sell the violin alone for the list price of $3100, but in our shop we make a beautiful outfit with a Bobelock case, and a great pernambuco bow from Brazil and still stay under $3000........
